Dark Shadow Rises, the Birth of Rage

*What looks like shadow enters the throne room, but something was off. The mask was chipped, and cracked, and there was a section missing that showed his real left eye and his mouth, but that eye was not the soothing green it should have been. It was now blood red against jet black where the white should have been. *

*He chuckles in a voice that was not my own.*

???: “Well, this IS a treat Panda. Last time we meet, you and Yin were still the same person, and I recall I was pinning you to the ground and holding a blade to your throat”

Panda: *realization dawns on her* Dark Shadow.

Dark Shadow: yes *he give a vile and sinister smirk*

Panda: why are you here?

Dark Shadow: oh, just stopping by to ruin your life. I haven’t had that kind of fun in a long time *gives that same smirk and suddenly, he has Kenta in his arms, and holding the razor-like claws of the gauntlet centimeters from his face* “move and he dies”

*Panda worries for her son, wonders where her king is, and tries to think of something, but she isn’t given the chance to think for very long*

Dark Shadow: I also brought a friend with me who will be the one you fight. *his smile becomes that of someone who is playing a dirty trick on someone and enjoys it*

*The figure comes into the throne room, and it is female. But what shocks Panda to the point that she is paralyzed with shock and fear, is the identity of this female. It was someone Panda KNEW was dead.*

*It was hard to tell at first, but Standing before Panda………was LITA!!! The very daughter Panda had killed and eaten when she was going insane.*

*Lita’s old body had been consumed, so her new body was the stitched together parts of corpses to look just like her old body. The end result looked like a female version of Frankenstein, Or a Stitched-up rag-doll and somehow Lita now looked more insane than Panda had EVER been.*

Panda: *in shock* ”…impossible. Mar should have prevented something like that…and Julius is the one with Lita’s soul…how-“

Dark Shadow: “oh don’t worry. We took care of them.” *Dark Shadow throws a disembodied, and blood covered head to her……and it was Mar’s head; A look of terror permanently frozen on his face. The sight of that only makes Panda go FURTHER into shock*
“And as for your son. Last I saw him, he was pinned to a wall with the same blades you used to bind Apollo once, but we let him stay awake this time”

Lita: “you know mom, it takes a special kind of mother to KILL their OWN DAUGHTER in COLD BLOOD and then DEVOUR the remains.”

*Lita then uses magic that was DARKER than it ever had been before. And after dodging the attack, when Panda looked in Lita’s eyes she saw it; the old Lita was in there, but there was also the intent to kill. Lita meant to kill Panda just like how Panda had killed her.*

Dark Shadow: “and the fun part about this all is that you can’t stop her. *while laughing insanely* SHE’S ALREADY DEAD!”

*Lita attacks again with ferocity she had never had before. She would tear down the entire kingdom if she had to, for revenge.*

Dark Shadow: “face it Panda, ‘your past sins have come back to bite you and you must pay the price.’ And don’t worry, your son will be well taken care of…being trained to one day KILL his OWN FATHER!” *he laughs like a mad man as he vanishes in a swirl of fire and Shadow, leaving Panda to deal with her Daughter back from the dead to get revenge*

Lita is relentless in her attacks. She was angry, and wanted some kind of pay back, or anything to make up for what was done to her.
Panda dodges as best she can, but it was clear that she was on the defensive and could not run forever. She was already feeling tired despite using her animal abilities to try and get away, but Lita was to powerful now.
When Panda manages to hide for a bit, she suddenly feels like laughing. In her maddened state, she had killed Lita for fear that Lita would become so powerful that she would overthrow Panda. And now Lita had MORE than enough power, and was almost doing the very think Panda was scared of at that time! Panda honestly felt like laughing at the sheer irony of it all.

Then Risa, Orly, and Ruco appear. Risa had stopped by for a visit and found Orly and Ruco tied up with magic. It took time but she had managed to get them free and now all three rushed in to find Lita attacking Panda. Orly and Ruco got to work keeping Lita occupied while Risa snuck Panda out.
Orly and Ruco fought well, but Lita was to powerful for them to hold back for long. Thankfully it was long enough for Risa and Panda to get far enough away.

Lita: *eventually binds Orly and Ruco and grunts* “no thanks to you two she got away. Out of respect for caring for me in the past, I’ll let you two live.” She then knocks them out cold and heads back to where Dark Shadow was hiding out, and waits for orders.

After Panda managed to escape from Lita, she gathered up all her old friends and acquaintances to help with finding Dark Shadow and getting her son back. The Monkey King had been knocked out from behind, which showed how skilled Dark Shadow was to be able to sneak up on The Monkey King.

They managed to track down Dark Shadow to a place that previously belonged to the Lich. Dark Shadow had been slowly feeding Kenta dark energy. The energy would make his fighting style the dark version of his father’s, and it would make Kenta stronger than his father.

Thankfully, everyone found Dark Shadow before he could feed Kenta too much dark energy.
A fight breaks out, but Dark Shadow had all his powers, which were proven to be stronger than what everyone thought they would be, and with Lita, who suddenly appeared out of the shadows, Dark Shadow was almost unstoppable.

Dark shadow had left Kenta back in the lair to make sure Kenta stayed alive. Dark Shadow needed Kenta alive for his plans. The fight is taken outside, and it is clear that no one could easily oppose Dark Shadow. Lita was eventually defeated by Apollo and Sara, but they did not kill her. Because it was then that Dark Shadow went all out. Dark Shadow was about to strike down Panda when he suddenly stopped!

Dark Shadow is suddenly clutching his head, reeling and flailing.
Dark Shadow: “NO! You can’t have it back! I WON!! THIS BODY IS MINE NOW!”
Me: “I don’t think so Dark Shadow! You CHEATED in that fight and took control while I was down. Now I’m taking it BACK!”
Our two powers began to radiate out of our shared body, fluctuating between Dark Shadow and myself like crazy. Apollo could tell that if the struggle continued, there was a chance that my body could be torn apart by the conflict.

There is a BLINDING light that surrounds Dark Shadow, and then it seems to ‘explode’ creating a huge cloud of dust. Then a figure comes stumbling out of the dust. When the figure looks up, it was me. My eyes green with my right eye having the discoloring from the scar, just like it was supposed to be. I had won …or, so it seemed.

A maniacal, evil laugh is heard from the dust cloud, and what appears looks like a carbon copy of me! But the armor was different. It was repaired, somewhat, but it now looked rusted in spots, and the smooth patters that it used to have had now turned into parasitic-looking markings. Like this new entity was a plague, or disease. The mask still had the part for the mouth shattered off, and the teeth were now all fangs like and inhumanly long. The claws of the gauntlet were now serrated, and the blades on the gauntlets and legs were now twisted-looking versions of their previous selves.

Me: *eyes widen at what I see*…Dark Shadow?
Dark Shadow: it’s Rage now.
Rage wastes no time attacking me. Slashing and hacking and blasting like you would expect from a villain far WORSE than the Lich. Also, I was at a disadvantage because I no longer had my armor on to protect me, so I was immediately forced to stick to dodging, and evading. Even with all my powers, I was still human. If he landed a good enough hit, I would actually die!

I do my best to avoid Rage, and fight back, but without my armor, I was exposed. Rage’s fire actually burns me even if it misses, and there is nothing to stop the blades of ice and stone he shoots at me from cutting me when they were just glancing blows. And without the insulation from my armor, anything he hit with his black electric bolts goes numb.

The others get over the shock and help, but Rage was seemingly more powerful now; like he was holding back before. The truth was that it was because he was bonded to me, and my good half is what weakened his powers, but now he was free and unbounded.

Lita tries to reason with Rage, saying that they had won and didn’t need to fight any longer, but he just grabs her by the throat and give his dark smile.
Rage: “you served me well Lita, but you were always expendable to me. Now you’re of no use to me anymore. You can die with your mother!
He casts her aside, leaving her for dead when she collides with a pillar of stone some distance away, and then Rage gets back to fighting the others.
Lita was still alive, but knocked unconscious for the time being. When she came to, she snuck away to be alone and collect her thoughts.

Meanwhile, Panda, Shannon and Night manage to get me away while Rage is distracted with the others, and pull me into a cave that still overlooked the fight.
Night is scared out of her mind because she had never faced an enemy like this before. She had faced a few minor punks, and even fought against Marceline once, but they were NOTHING compared to how powerful Rage was. Shannon does her best to comfort Night while I heal and Panda tends to me as best she can.
Panda: “What can we possibly do? Rage is too powerful for us to take on by ourselves.”
Me: *once I have healed enough* “There is only one person who can fight Rage now, Me.”
Panda: “But your still hurt, And Rage is stronger than he was before. How can you hope to stop him now?”
Me: “I just need you guys to keep him busy until it arrives.” I pull out a kind of clicker that is used to call for something and activate it.
Panda: “Until what gets here?”
Me: “My new Armor. I never got the chance to test it before now. But I don’t have the luxury of time anymore”

The others fight with all their strength, but Rage eventually beats them all. He was about to strike them down for good, when something caught his eye. Some kind of pod that ducked into the cave that Shadow, Shannon, Night, and Panda were now in. what emerges from that cave is me in my new armor.*

Shadow: “This ends now Rage”
Rage: “I couldn’t agree more”
*we both ‘vanish’ but we actually moves so fast that the untrained eye couldn’t see us move, but Sky, The Monkey King, did. We both clash with almost demi-god like strength, and both of us go all out. In terms of powers, it was clear to the others that this was a fight that they could NOT jump into without being caught in the cross-fire. It was also becoming clear that my new armor was having an advantage over Rage’s armor. Mine was stronger, more padded, but still easier to move in somehow, and was far more resistant than Rage’s armor was proving to be.*

*Eventually, I land a solid hit, right to Rage’s masked face, and I manage to SHATTER the mask. But what is behind the mask shows that while Rage was like a carbon copy clone of me, it was still NOT me. His face is more monstrous, and his eyes are that of a demon. Blood red throughout the entire eye except for the slit pupils like that of a dragon*
*I give him no time to recover as I uppercut him and send him flying back, blood spraying out of his mouth*
Shadow: “Looks like we share on other thing Rage. Take away your armor, and you’re as fragile and frail as a regular human is”

*Rage spits the blood out of his mouth, and knows that if he keeps fighting like this, he would lose*
Rage: “You win this round, but don’t think this is over. It’s war now.”
*Rage vanishes in a swirl of shadow and black fire*
Shadow: “It never IS over”

*Shadow helps the others recover, and then they all go back to check on Kenta and Kyoko who had stayed in the cave to watch over Kenta and to alert the others if Rage tried to come back for Kenta*
*Kenta is found to be okay. The Dark energy that Rage had fed Kenta wasn’t enough to corrupt Kenta. Kenta’s personality would remain intact, but the only thing that was affected was Kenta’s fighting style and abilities, which would now be darker than they would have been, but not to the point that Kenta could not change or control it. Kenta could still learn is father’s fighting style and use it, but his personal style would just be a darker version of it.
